'Monocando' is a word I invented as a child to refer to a human-size male gorilla doll that sang while playing a music keyboard. He was the star of this fabulous place my parents used to take my siblings and me. It was a time of pure bliss. Today, 'Monocando' represents those years of upbringing in which we were free to laugh, ask, imagine, wonder, create, and simply be ourselves.
